Seaview_Portfolio_AboutTheShow

Directed by Academy Award-winner Bill Condon making his Broadway debut, this exciting new staging of SIDE SHOW has “the flash and velocity of a Hollywood motion picture” and “puts gripping emotion in the main tent” (Los Angeles Times).

Based on the legendary Hilton twins, Daisy and Violet, SIDE SHOW follows their heartwarming search for first love and acceptance amidst the spectacle of fame and scrutiny under the spotlight. The world of SIDE SHOW is set against the backdrop of 1920’s and ’30s show business that seamlessly blend the worlds of carnival, vaudeville, and Hollywood glamour.

This project caught our attention after we watched a performance of the stunning revival during its run at the Kennedy Center. Side Show has long been considered a theater cult classic after its short run on Broadway in 1998, and we were thrilled to jump on the opportunity to bring new life to this classic in 2014.

In our role as producer we’ve enjoyed connecting with investors about the potential financial successes of a production that features an almost completely new script and ten original songs. This is a show that will welcome a new generation of theater fans and possibly lead to a great return on investment for our producing team.
