Tony Award winner Sam Gold revisits Chekhov following his acclaimed 2012 production of Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya that was heralded as “luminous” and “the most intimate and engaging exploration of Chekhov’s bleak comedy.” This new adaptation of Three Sisters, penned by Pulitzer Prize finalist Clare Barron and produced in partnership with New York Theatre Workshop, will star Greta Gerwig, Oscar Isaac and Steve Buscemi.
